Our Chapter's Mission

APICS-Triangle Chapter provides tools for the lifelong development of knowledge and skills in supply chain operations management. These skills enhance abilities, accelerate careers and help our members and their organizations to successfully compete in a global economy.

Officially incorporated on January 6, 1986, the APICS Triangle Chapter of APICS covers a very large and diverse area of Central North Carolina centered within the Greater Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area; and, includes Fayetteville, Southern Pines, and Sanford (to our south), Wilson and Rock Mount (to our east), and many of the smaller towns and villages within 40 miles north and west of the Triangle area.

As the second largest chapter in the 9 state Southeast District of APICS, we are extremely proud to recognize our 300 plus members and the 132 APICS Certified Professionals (CPIM, CIRM, CFPIM and CSCP) that make up our chapters membership. These members represent more than 140 companies, universities and colleges within our chapters regional area.

We are also proud parents to the following APICS Student Chapters; which participate in our professional development, plant tours and educational offerings:

• Duke University
