Qualifications: A manufacturing background preferred with experience in forecasting, material requirements planning, materials management as well as dynamics of supply chain management. Ideal candidate will have strong organizational, written and verbal skills as well as ability to communicate with all levels of organization in a clear and concise and professional manner in a team based environment. Experience or training using Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word. Any statistical education or training would add value to the position. Experience with John Galt forecast software and APICS certification or working toward certification a plus.

Duties: A leading Home Fashion company is seeking a dynamic individual to join a team in the development of forecasts for finished goods and work with purchasing to coordinate projected requirements and inventory levels. Highly visible position and requires excellent communication skills. This individual will also act as a liaison between sales and the planning process and may engage in collaborative forecasting and planning with major retail customers to gain first hand information about product sales. Use statistical process to develop and update the forecast for each master schedule item. The forecast drives our planning systems, which in turn drives our business to make the right product at the right time and provide the highest service possible for our customers.
