Duties: COTY US in Sanford, NC (located 40 miles south of Raleigh), the worlds largest manufacturer and distributor of fine fragrances and cosmetics has the following job opportunity available immediately: We are currently searching for a Factory NPD Planner reporting to the VP of Production Planning. Will develop and execute a micro plant level CPS for new product development. The goal will be to streamline and oversee the factory activities which impact the execution/timeliness/success of new product launches. Will be the interface between the NPD group, the Manufacturing team, and the Factory Planners with regards to milestones (Pilots, Line Trials, Change Parts, etc), inventory, the production plan for New Products, capacity and parts deliveries while adhering to all the Operations Vision, Mission, Priorities, Values and Principles. Will act as single factory point of contact for all NPD groups, irrespective of location & division for responsibilities including: CPS sign off on behalf of factory, RPI/PSI completion, and coordination and execution of the plant based elements of a CPS with the Factory based organization. Identify & communicate factory delays to NPD groups (raise Alert's). Work with NPD and Planning to ensure new products are included in the 18 month capacity plan, including EU led projects. Define and implement inventory policies for new products in support the companys business objectives and agreements between the NPD and Commercial organizations. Manage the MPS/MRP of new products and interface with Planning Manager / Director to assess capacity considerations for new launches.
