Registration Now Requires a Password

This feature has been added so that website users and our members have some privacy. Requiring members to provide some sort of login to access their membership information, or "profile", is standard protocol.

Here's how it works:

The first time you (either a member registered with APICS or a "non-member" using the site) register for an event or to access your profile, you will be prompted for a password. If you do not know what your password is, then select the "email me my password" option. You will receive an email sent to the email address on file in our roster.

Once the you have set your password on this site, it will be remembered for 6 months provided you continue to use the same computer and browser. So long as you return to the site at least once every 6 months from the same computer and browser, you will never have to enter your password again. What is more, this can also be set on multiple computers/browsers (for example from home and from work), and each time you have the option not to have it remembered (for example if you are on a shared or public computer, say at an internet cafe).
